Hello to all our family, friends and those who find our website.

There may not be too many entries until Joyce and I set off on our adventures afloat which may then continue for the rest of our (active) lives. Plans are afoot! and it is Roy who has the most arranging to do having 2 small businesses to leave in good hands.
Meantime Joyce continues to enjoy her work as Senior Manager at Age Concern…..just the right person to be going away with!!
We have no actual itinery and won’t have but will move from place to place as takes our fancy. The only goal is hopefully to visit Roy’s brother David and partner Jan who are hoping to emmigrate to New Zealand this year to be with David’s daughter Cass and 2 grandsons Salvi and Vito and John, Cass’s husband.
They will be well settled by the time we get there!!!!
I am including a picture or 3 of Adhara who will be our floating home. Roy presently is studying for his ameteur radio licence……oooo he was never good at physics or electronics…and his Long Range Radio Certificate for communications via an HF SSB radio/telephone. Roy is also learning to play and sing along with his newly aquired uke banjo to keep Joyce entertained along the way….though some say it might endanger their relationship! Otherwise Adhara can be ready any time since anything not ready can be done on the way!
